Yeah, they close in August for vacations. Guess they figure everyone's busy grilling their own. Sucks when you're jonesing for that sauce and have to wait until September. Eh, it makes it all that much sweeter when they re-open.

If you do go, bring cash. They don't take credit and debit cards. Oh, and be sure to grab a Len&Jo's pizza for dinner... thin crust and sloppy but ohhh so good.

Hey don't put him in the conservative column - we like coffee too.

Put this creature squarely in the 'nut-job' column... and keep politics outta my morning joe.

The guy who started this topic is exactly what is wrong with Port Jervis. Jeez, the left? Are you taking everything literally from the conservative agenda that people who are liberal, or at the very least not content with the old way of doing things are evil. That line of thinking has got this country where it is today, in such a debacle that no visible exit stratedgy exists. Or would you rather "stay the course" you hateful ignorant media puppet.

I fully support businesses like Port Java and anyting else that may bring culture to this town. There is a distinct difference between corporate dragons such as Dunkin Donuts and Port Java with the latter providing a sense of community and culture while the former represents nothing but product....and a poor product at that.

If you can't handle paying a little more for a cup of coffee, then you should be focusing on why you have so little money rather than throwing out your ignorance and stupidy onto the internet where impressionable youths may read it and actually believe it to be truthful.

I foresee great things for Port Jervis' Downtown District as long as we keep people like the aforementioned from placing their own agendas in the mix what is truly needed in this town.

Oh yea, and i don't live there anymore, but i did for a solid 18 years. Your way of thinking resulted in nothing more than poverty and decay. Perhaps that is good for you, so you can keep collecting your public assistance and use it not to feed the 8 kids you have, but to drive to Autozone and put another piece of useless, tacky, accessory on a car you can't afford. ( That last statement goes out to all those who it applies, not necessarily the author of this thread.)

Holy Cow.....we have hit Rock Bottom on this topic!

You get a classy place that serves coffee and food and someone wants to complain.

How about complaining about some other places, such as Dairy Mart....The Welfare Office on Pike street and the parole dept next door. Get concept putting the 2 together. Get released from prison, check in with your parole officer, go next door and get some hand outs from the state....niiiice. Thanks Rich for putting that in town.

Complain about Dunkin Donuts.....Have you ever heard a "Thank You" when you buy something?

My Money is on Port Java....Its clean.....its good and its locally owned.

It's just amazing how someone would waste all that time to post those awful comments on Port Java. If you don't like the place just don't go there. It's good to see a place like that here.
