Little Kitchen went out of business...owner was wife of guy who owned Hawks Nest restaurant that burnt down. New owners renovated completely, I beleive they are from Port. Gotta go in, place is quaint and super "CLEAN". Wish they had sit-down, they do have a small bistro table, sat and ate there, very friendly.

Yes, Foodalicious. Opened early fall. Makes great soups and they deliver.

You must be talking about "Foodalicious", near the comic book store on Pa. Avenue. That's the only place in Matamoras, I think, that sells paninis. It used to be called ummm... "The LIttle Kitchen" I think not too long ago.

I've been to Port Java for the first time not too long ago and I feel that it is a wonderful addition to Port Jervis. I absolutly LOVE what their menu has to offer... esp their soups!! YUM!! Not to mention the employees are such sweet people.

The coffee there is the best, and I know I have used credit cards there before. They now also do pannini sandwiches so my husband enjoys comig as well. By the way, for the poster who started this post, look at all the old original port jervis pictures and postcards on the wall, I think they care about the city.

I'm glad to hear that you'll be around! You're the only place in town that knows what real coffee is supposed to taste like!!

This is the first time I have ever seen this thread. Thanks to all who have seen the positive side of Port Java. To the cranky person who started this thread about 1 and 1/2 years ago, I hate to disappoint you but Port Java is not only here to stay, but we are thriving.

Me neither. I thought it was a nice idea, and I liked the coffee too.

Been to Port Java, and thought it was great!!! Nice cup o' tea, nice coffee for the missus, and the desserts were fantastic! don't know what the problem is with the guy who started this thread.
