Last night, I once again found myself meandering along the Heritage Trail. I stepped ever so carefully, diligently remaining within the designated walkway, since any deviation could lead to catastrophic shoe problems. My journey took me past the future business establishment to be known as Jamaica Junction. As I read the sign in the window “coming soon”, a warm feeling came over me as I thought of a “Bong” Shop in the middle of downtown Port Jervis. Yes! Every viable, thriving community longs for a “Bong” Shop thriving in its downtown business district. Rumor has it that a Hemp rope, of the highest quality of course, will be used for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Great thought! I don't see it happening though, to much work involved for a whiner/complainer/typist who never leaves the house.

Here's a thought... If you're so 'concerned' why not organize a group of volunteers to spend an afternoon cleaning up the trail? Oh, wait, that would be too much trouble... better to just bitch about it on a stupid internet forum.

So I am walking along the Heritage Trail noting to myself the lack of foreign debris along the ground. I then suddenly realized what was going on. There along the unbridled weeds and unkempt lawns lurked a silent enemy. Yes! Dog feces. Dog waste lying like a predator, prepared to attach itself to the shoe sole of the unwary walker who accidently wanders from the designated pathway.

I don't believe concerned ever takes a walk anywhere. Whiny people seldom do. It is to much effort to be happy, why would this person even leave the house when the sky is falling?
