Maybe if they cut administrative waste (salaries) they would be able to keep giving to the students!! Our future!!! |

Mellow Yellow, you are so right! I witnessed several buses sliding on Park Avenue. They had children on, but did the Port Administrators care? No! not at all. |

If they were to close early on Tues kids would be home and parents or others would see this as a sign that road are dangerous and not go vote. They knew bad weather was coming, all the departments (B&G, Maint.& Trans) get printed intermittent weather reports form Admin. They wanted people to vote so the kept our kids all day and sent them home on buses sliding all over, buses that couldn't get up hills , or were sliding backwards down them. Endangering our kids instead of rescheduling the vote. They're priorities are all screwed up. |

They did actually list it last night! Does not make up for waiting so long to close the school early the past two Tuesdays. Maybe they should ride home in the buses with our children on days like that! |

Port Jervis schools are always one of the last schools to mention closings. |

Our highly educated, educational leaders cannot decide to close school, the night before, when we have a foot of snow on the ground already, with another foot on the way? |
