From what I have heard from employees of this SD, that is their usual stance - do as I say, not as I do.
If we did what they do, we would spend someone else's money with abandon on all kinds of stuff that is not needed, and let the real problems go by the wayside, all the while stuffing our own pockets and laughing at those who fill them.

Why does this BOE want the public to support a project that costs millions of dollars so they can save money on energy when they themselves refused to take action in order to save the district money through energy purchasing?

I remember Witherow urging the board to change something about the way the school buys utlilities. He said they could have saved a lot of money and it would not have cost anything for the district to do it.

The board voted against saving us taxpayers this money!

So, if the board themselves won't support actions that could save money at NO ADDITIONAL COST why should we, as taxpayers, vote to spend money to save money.

Do as we say.....not as we do!!!!
